OKLAHOMA COACHES ASSOCIATION

ALL-STATE and ALL-STAR POLICIES

The blue and gold All-State jacket with the gold All-State patch that is shaped like the state of Oklahoma will be worn only by the athletes who have been selected as All-State by criteria approved by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.

Track and field All-State status is achieved by winning an event at the state meet. Seniors that are state champions are entitled to obtain a blue and gold All-State jacket. Underclass persons are allowed to obtain a red and gold All-Star jacket. When the underclass state champion participates his/her senior year, they may obtain a blue and gold All-State jacket.

The top ten finishers in each class will achieve All-Star status in cross country. Seniors may obtain a blue and gold All-State jacket when they participate their senior year.

All-State will be reserved for seniors only; no underclass persons are eligible for All-State recognition.
